Hot jazz made in a cold city.

Up and Over Trio is a jazz trio based out of Edmonton. This design was visually inspired by a furnace - a cold exterior disguises the red hot activity within, which I felt portrayed an energetic but adult jazz group like this. The outer dusk jacket is mostly black, but as the insert is removed it lights up with hot colours, giving the album a quality of temperature that makes the physical activity of opening it engaging.
